HISTORY
Heritage “White Hill Estate” Homestead, circa 1841- owned and operated by 6th generation of the pioneering Oliver Family, “White Hill Farm” is nestled to the north in the hills overlooking the township of McLaren Vale.
White Hill is a unique property and historical landmark in McLaren Vale.
Settled and built by Scottish Farming pioneers William and Elizabeth Oliver and their 10 children from 1841 onwards.

B&B offering 3 gracious large double bedrooms at ground level.

2nd bedroom (queen & single bed) and 3rd bedroom (double bed) sharing the main bathroom.
Downstairs in the cellar: Bedroom 1: Queen, Bedroom 2: Double and Bedroom 3: 3 single beds.
Stunning open plan farm kitchen/dining, formal lounge room and library, using quality furnishings throughout.
You and your guests have exclusive use of the homestead, including the surrounding grounds, perfect for entertaining with several locations from formal dining, casual BBQ and dozens of picnic spots.

  • ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES
    Arrival after 2 pm
    Departure by 10 am or by prior arrangement.
    To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the relevant tariff is payable within 5 days of making reservation.
    The balance owing to be paid 2 weeks prior to arrival.
    Methods of payment - funds transfer, cash, cheque, money order (no EFTPOS)

    Several fantastic eateries and wineries are just over the hill - using loads of fresh and regional produce.

    Enjoy a bottle of Olivers’ Taranga wine per couple and some local treats, a plate of dukkah / olive oil / olives / bread Ample goods are provided for both cooked & continental breakfast including farm fresh eggs, Ellis Butcher bacon, seasonal fruit and vegetables, juices, tea and plunger coffee, cereals, homemade preserves, biscuits.

    GROUNDS
    Heritage listed c 1860’s outbuildings Chaff Shed - licensed for 60 sit down and 100 cocktail style and BYO for weddings and functions, with Tack Shed and Black Smith’s shop Original Winery in use as a shearing shed.
